The Dallas Cowboys and QB Dak Prescott agreed to a four-year, $160M contract on Monday, the day before they would have had to franchise tag him for a second time.

The 27-year-old Prescott is coming off a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle which he suffered against the New York Giants last October. He is expected to make a full recovery during the 2021 offseason program.

Prescott has gone 42-27 in the role of QB, throwing for 17,634 yards and 106 touchdowns against 40 interceptions. He is 1-2 in the playoffs with 734 passing yards and five TD throws against two picks.
