Novak Djokovic rallied to beat 11th-seeded Karen Khachanov 4-6, 7-6 (0), 6-2, 6-4 at the French Open on Tuesday, marking his 45th career Grand Slam semifinal. Djokovic will face either No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, or No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semi-finals.
The victory over Khachanov puts the No. 3-seeded Djokovic in the semis for the 12th time at Roland Garros (only Rafael Nadal has done it more, with 15 semifinals.).
Djokovic is a two-time champion in Paris (2016, 2021) and is seeking to earn his 23rd Grand Slam trophy overall. If he does so, he would break a tie with Nadal for the men’s record.
