The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the NY Mets in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series with a 9-0 shutout win on Sunday evening at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles starter Jack Flaherty pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing just two-his and striking-out six. The Dodgers scoring began in the first inning, where they scored two runs off of Mets’ starter Kodai Senga, and added another run in the 2nd inning against Senga before the Mets turned to their bullpen.

Singles from Tommy Edman, Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman added three more runs in the fourth inning to give the Dodgers a 6-0 lead, with Mookie Betts later doubling with the bases loaded in the eighth inning to score three more runs and give the Dodgers a nine-run lead, and the win.

Game 2 of the NLCS will take place at Dodger Stadium on Monday afternoon at 4:08 p.m. ET.
