* The Philadelphia 76ers took a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals, beating the Boston Celtics 115-103 on Tuesday night. Joel Embiid scored 30 points for a third straight game, and Tyrese Maxey added 30 points and six 3-pointers, while James Harden finished with 17 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. The Celtics Jayson Tatum led Boston’s scoring with 36 points, with Jaylen Brown adding 24, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the 76ers.

The 76ers and Celtics will face-off in Game 6 on Thursday, May 11th at 7:30pm in Philadelphia.

* The Denver Nuggets earned the Game 5 win in their Western Conference playoff series against the Phoenix Suns with a score of 118-102. Two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokić made history with a triple-double, finishing with 29 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists and his 10th career playoff triple double, meaning he now has the most playoff triple-doubles by a center.

The Nuggets now lead the series 3-2, and need just one more win to advance to the next round. Game 6 between the Suns and Nuggets will take place on Thursday, May 11th at 10:00 pm. in Phoenix.
