According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, former 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has agreed to a three-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders. Per ESPN, the deal is for three years and is worth $67.5 million, which includes $34 million guaranteed.

The 31-year-old played for San Francisco since the New England Patriots traded him in October 2017.  The 49ers started the year with Trey Lance as its starting quarterback, but after season-ending ankle injury Garoppolo took back the starting spot.  However, Garoppolo eventually was injured as well, and missed the rest of the season with a foot injury. Before that, Garoppolo had tallied 2,437 passing yards and 16 touchdown passes to just four interceptions in 11 games played this past season.

In Las Vegas, Garoppolo will reunite with coach Josh McDaniels, who was Garoppolo’s quarterback coach and offensive coordinator when they were in New England from 2014-17.
