One day after replacing head coach Frank Reich, the Indianapolis Colts interim coach Jeff Saturday has named his play-caller. Reich had been overseeing Indianapolis’ offense after firing coordinator Marcus Brady after Week 8, but starting on Sunday’s game against the Raiders, the play-calling duties will be taken over by assistant Parks Frazier.

The 30-year-old Frazier is in his fifth season with the Colts, hired by Reich in 2018. The former Northeast Mississippi and Murray State quarterback spent his first two years as an assistant to the head coach, and after one season as offensive quality control coach, Frazier was elevated to assistant QBs coach in 2021. He was named pass game specialist/assistant QBs coach this year.  In his time as assistant to the head coach, Frazier would communicate with Reich from the coaches’ box, offering in-game tips on opposing tendencies.
