Stephen Curry had 21 points and a game-high 12 rebounds to help the Golden State Warriors beat the Dallas Mavericks 112-87 on Wednesday night, giving them a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference finals. The Mavericks Luka Doncic scored 20 points but shot just 6 for 18 and 3 of 10 from deep, and Jalen Brunson scored 14 points but missed all five of his 3s.  The two helped bring Dallas back into the game late in the first half to get within 54-45 at the break, but Curry and Klay Thompson pushed the Warriors towards domination in the second half.

Game 2 between the Warriors and Mavericks in the best-of-seven series will take place Friday night at Chase Center.
