The Detroit Pistons traded Andre Drummond to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday, just one hour before the NBA trade deadline. Cleveland is sending Brandon Knight, John Henson and a 2023 second-round pick to Detroit.
Both Henson and Knight, whom the Pistons drafted in the first round of the 2011 draft, have contracts that expire this offseason. After 7½ seasons, Drummond leaves the franchise with three rebounding titles and two All-Star appearances.
